• USGS Retirees meet through Informal and formal gatherings are held all over the country. These The USGS Retirees have been meeting in person for reunions for over 50 years and range from coffee, breakfast, or lunch meetups, monthly technical presentations, to annual holiday gatherings.   • The USGS Retirees have been meeting in person for reunions for over 50 years. These reunions are typically every other year and are rotated through locations that will offer a reunion within driving distance once every ten years.

    Reunions typically last three days with a schedule similar to

    • Day 1

      • Check in 2:00 – 7:00 pm

      • Informal reunion kickoff- gathering 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.

    • Day 2

      • information meeting day 1 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.

      • interesting local tour(s) / field trip(s)

    • Day 3

      • interesting local tour(s) / field trip(s)

      • dinner banquet 6:00 – 9:30 p.m.

    • Other

      • Hospitality suite, hours depend on other activities

      • Golf outing often on Day 1

      • Special interest gatherings – recruit enough attendees, and we can set up the meeting room
